South Africa’s total unemployment is estimated at around 30%, however if you factor the economically inactive population the number escalates to 40% The number becomes more alarming when factoring that 59% of the youth in South Africa are unemployed.

Mentorship

All Digital Skills Africa founding members grew up with the struggle of inequality, however stayed the course and managed to develop successful careers in the tech industry and decided that its time to give back.

Industry Partnerships

Digital Skills Africa will focus on partnering with the tech industry to build digital training labs, innovation centres and incubation labs to provide disadvantaged community members with a technical certification that will provide them with an equal opportunity to get a meaningful jobs.
